Volunteers Need to Help Unload Shipment from Salve Regina University – December 9, 2012

On Sunday, December 9, 2012 we will need volunteers to unload donations from a U-Haul container in Toms River.  Students from Salve Regina University in Rhode Island sent 2000 pounds of donations to help with hurricane relief efforts; they chose TCNJ Here for Home as their contact to unload and donate the items.

We will be leaving campus at 8am on Sunday morning and arriving at the Toms River U-Haul center at 2180 US 9.  Once at the Center, we will unload the U-Haul box of Salve Regina’s donations and load them into a U-Haul truck.  The students will then follow the truck to 1256 Indian Head Road in Toms River (about 5 minutes away) to drop off the donations at a distribution warehouse.  We anticipate volunteers arriving back on campus by 1pm.

Our contacts at Salve Regina first emailed us weeks ago about this shipment and it is finally here!  Wear TCNJ attire, bring cameras and help in the process of donating over 2000 pounds of donations!!
